FAQ's

How do I start a chat?

You can start a chat with a doctor or medical assistant in the app. Go to the ‘Chat’ tab and choose whether you want to chat with a doctor or a medical assistant. The chat begins with a questionnaire. Describe your symptoms to prepare for the conversation. After you finish the questionnaire, you’ll quickly receive a response from the doctor.

You can request repeat prescriptions through a chat with the medical assistant.

You can indicate in the chat that you want to make an appointment, e.g. for a specific treatment. The medical assistant will then schedule the appointment at the practice.

Do you have a healthcare question? You can first discuss your question with the doctor via chat. If your question cannot be resolved via chat, the medical assistant will schedule an appointment for you at the practice.

Yes, the Carib Health app allows you to contact a doctor directly. Go to the ‘Chat’ tab to start a chat with a doctor.

Our team of doctors works together to provide your care. When you ask a question, the available doctor will assist you. Our team is made up of a small group of doctors. The doctor you chat with has access to your medical record during the conversation, ensuring they are informed about your situation and can provide the best care.

The Carib Health app is not intended for emergencies. In such cases, call the emergency number immediately. You can find emergency numbers in the Carib Health app under the ‘Chat’ tab by clicking on ‘Emergency Numbers.’ Dial 911 in life-threatening situations!

Not all healthcare questions can be answered via chat. In some cases, you may need to visit the practice. The medical assistant will then schedule an appointment for you at the practice.
